The Journey(thoughts in my head)

1. This is a journey I MUST do.

2. This is where I was MEANT to be. No where else.

3. I will find the strength. It will be daunting.

4. So close but so far. It's beauty calling my name.

5. I must quicken the pace. For I must be the ONLY one to the top.

6. LOOK at me. NOTHING can stop me now. NOTHING.

7. All these things you see here are petty compared to what awaits me.

8. I hear nothing. I see nothing. This journey has become me.

9. The word "rest" means nothing to me.

10. There will be obstacles of deception and trickery.

11. What is becoming of me? Am I Hunter? Am I Warrior?

12. The voice inside me said.."Son, you one and both." "You are YOU."

13. I struggled. I fought. I endured. I can see the light.

14. Wait? It is not what I thought. It is bigger than it seems. Am I prepared for this?

15. Hmmmm....these thoughts in my head. Do I like what I see?

16. I stare at myself. It comes to me. I knew, I always knew, that I would complete this journey. I am pleased.

If you removed the numbers and gave a little more effort this could be a nice poem. You seem to have the experiences of someone who has been through some tough stuff. Turn that into art.
