Tainted

Tainted

A Story by Danny Sanchez

The innocence that lies within children is so beautiful. They see humanity for what it is. They're relentless in their attempt to connect with each other. They don't see color. They don't see race. They don't see ethnicity. They don't see social status. They see human beings. It is not until the adults in theirs lives begin to guide, that they become tainted. They learn judgment, they learn race, ethnicity,& color. They learn social status. And in those moments they forget humanity.

Quite true and beautifully terrible! This concept also applies to almost every part of your lifestyle as you grow. Your parents influence how you talk, dress, and believe. But on the flip side, some kids do the exact opposite of their parents just to rebel. Many of your thought patterns are furthered for the good or bad by those you are exposed to in your youth.

Oh, and in your "About" the Author, it says, "I pretty much been writing my entire life but. . ." You probably meant to say, "I HAVE pretty much been writing my entire life, (comma). . ."
