an uneasy sky

an uneasy sky

A Poem by Rakesh Roushan

A sparkling arrow struck the sky
And left it muzzed with a bang
Supported with the applause and greetings
The cheers and desires and hoping of the beings
The heart tenderness was made happy, relaxed
to see the crackers making the sky to shine and blank
the happiness, the bangs, the sound were applauded
but this happiness was short lived temperament
the pious breath of the nature’s sail
and the pious surrounding of the nature’s breast
all was made unhappy in that one moment
for the sake of happiness of little hearts at that moment
That being even after knowing that insane
The harm being done and the cost being paid
Continuous disasters and nature’s wraith
Strucking and hooking and telling the fate
One by one again and again these crackers burst
Filling the environment with joy for one face and
disturbing the environment calmness to the other face
this night the sky was never relaxed
with continuous bombing and smoking bangs
