Aftermath

Aftermath

A Poem by Jack...
"

What is left but loneliness?

"

Aftermath

by jack

The silent sun

was bright this day,

my mind

was in a fog

Its brilliant light upon the world

did send

So beautiful

this morning light,

but deep

inside my heart

The pain of losing love

comes once again

I did the best

that I could do,

though once again

I see

I’m left to cry these tears of

constant fall

This circle of

disparity,

I seem to

wander in

Does follow me now

everywhere I go

My eyes are open,

I can’t see

As no one is

around

I’ve no direction on this

followed path

Crumbling,

my world it does

The loudest awful

sound

Now here I stand within its

aftermath

Welcome Jack
all the love has lead you to the aftermath...loves aftermath worse then a tsunami
at least acknowledging that we have potentially been hurt should ease the pain...you think?title really got me and that poor soul on the dock in your pic...I just want to ask him to go fishing
thank you for sharing

Thank Holly, just like having too much sugar (forever mine) I had to come back and add some salt.
