Perfect Bird's Eye View

Perfect Bird's Eye View

A Poem by Jack...
"

Things seem so much clearer now.

"

Perfect Bird’s Eye View

by jack

The pathway long and winding

Of obstacles I’m finding

So easily I seem to overcome

Steep and never ending

The height I am ascending

It seems that I can almost touch the sun

Still I keep on going

Beneath a sky that’s glowing

Till everything beneath me I can see

A few more steps I travel

Soon the sights unravel

When I am at the place I long to be

As to the edge I’m nearing

And down below I’m peering

I find that all my dreams have now come true

For as I stand here gazing

The world it is amazing

Offered by this perfect bird’s eye view

I love love love this rhyming scheme, Jack...you know my general disdain for rhymes xD but this is one I tolerate rather well. It always kind of reminds me of Poe (not the content here, obviously) The meter is pitch perfect...I'll take as many as you've got. The poem itself is excellent, of course ;-) but the flow really made this one for me. Great stuff, my friend.

I am thinking the speaker is in the upper level, might be an angel or a watcher :) or else a greatest idea of heaven. Rich visuals and captivating word play :) Great work Mr. Jack.
