Altered LoveA Poem by Jack...Love can be sew very good
Altered Love Dressed in a jacket of tie dyed illusions Measuring moments to spare Dangling truth in the seams of confusion Camouflaged, nothing to wear Fastened by Velcro for heart strings are fraying Sewn with a fingerless glove Patterns on paper with words now displaying Perfectly sizing my love Trimming the edges of long distant mending Pinning my heart to my sleeve Finding the crease and I notice its bending Crooked is straight I believe Fabric now woven of promised affection Altering hemlines anew Polishing buttons which claim your reflection Love it looks so good on you © 2013 Jack...Author's Note
