On this day - rewrite - song

I took my original poem and rewrote it as a song for my daughters wedding. Below you will find a link to the actual song.

Brought to life, while standing in a meadow

Catch a breeze within your flowing hair

Hear the joy of sunny days before you

Take this hand and he will take you there

 

Touch the sky of azure placed aroma

Feel the grass a’ mingle through your toes

Laugh a while and smile at all you witness

Of this dream, a garden shower glows

Linger on of sunny blessings flowing

Round and round about your eyes to see

Filtered beams of saffron coated flowers

Holding true of all you mean to me

 

 

This my child, is all I can imagine

As my mind does breathe the scent of you

In my heart now runs a raging river

Tiny waves of everlasting true

 

Dance this day, for you have caught the rainbow

Listen close and hear the church bell toll

On this beach where wonders start to happen

And he takes you for his very own

Beautiful- didn't listen yet as I would need to register:( but the lyrics are wonderful and heart felt- a slow ballad or country song... Would even be well received as a duet ...soft with vocals taking center stage- at least that is how I hear it in my head!!! Your daughter is lucky to have received such a gift!
