You say we are the best of friends

Although I wish to be more than that

My friends don't understand

Why I like you as much as I do

Its because the way you make me smile

The way you look at me

It makes me feel happy and joyful

Just to be around you

When I talk to you

No words can say

How i feel while your talking to me

Whats sad is...

You know how i feel about you

And my friends think you feel the same

Sometimes you have to take the leap and find out. Waiting doesn't help, and the opposite sex sometimes really has no idea what is going on in their own lives and especially when it might come to you. You might as well tell him/her, and see what happens. The worst case scenario is that you stay friends.

The poem is well written, and I like your use of spacing and line breaks to add drama to the piece. Watch the "Your when it should be You're" and go back and capitalize your I's so that your reader isn't noticing that they aren't capitalized. Little details alter the flow of the work, and those little things will push readers through the solid poem and they'll end feeling that the poem is flawless -- exactly what you want :-)
