One year

This is for my fiance upon our first anniversary of being together, this is also 2 and a half months after we got engaged.

A year gone by so fast,
proved our life is built to last.
The strolls and treks we take,
forgiven through every mistake.
What I have learnt about you,
entrusts this love to be true
What you have learnt about me,
gains sight of the future we see.
Some still out of the know,
that we were hit with Cupid's bow.
You have your troubles, and I have mine,
what god blessed us with this life line?
No matter what hardships we fall upon,
we'll see it through to come and be gone.
Now hold my hand and see high above,
no other word to describe this power of love.
What you see, I feel with intent,
every word spoke is every one meant.
What you say, I hear with care,
upon my hearts sleeve I shall wear.
I will love you until the day I die,
nothing spoken will be of a lie.
I will love you beyond and more,
down my heart's mines, right to the core.
Its nearly a one year mile stone,
experiences we've had were then unknown.
What comes ahead will be a mystery,
soon after, it'll be our history.
So stay close to me and never let go,
let's enjoy our life like one big show.
