Speeches

A Poem by Goo

The time has come for me to say
What we are now
Can not grow old
We have what we made
Will burn into the sands of gold

This is the time where you say
What we had then
Still lies upon this ground
Can it be tried again
Will it burn into silenced sounds

There you are, stood froze before me
What we could be
Has a life to be lived
Let's run together now
Or keep every word hid

The people shout and they cry
What could we show
That will be a memory
We've exerted the wills
And the power of energy

The time has come for me to say
What we are now
Can not grow old
We have what we made
Values more than a ring of gold.
