You don't count

You don't count

A Poem by Goo
"

This is about my Dad's Dad (biological Granddad) - only met him twice in my entire life and he's never bothered with me and tried to make up for lost time with £100 when I was 12... Now he's dying.

"
In life we choose
In choosing we trust
What could have been done
Turned to dust

Top of the tree
They fly away
Forever gone
Far they'll stay

Innocent as a child
He should have known
That time cant heal
With money alone

With this last chance
You my blood line
I'm passing it up
To forget old times
