one minute

one minute

A Poem by Lyr J. Thirsk
"

this is set to coldplay's new 'vida' song which i think is great and these are the words i would use to its rhythm and music

"

one minute i ruled the seas
shaped a clay of enternities
then the neons came came crashing in
and left a platinum covered skeleton

and if you ever wanna see the sky
then all you gotta do is fly
and if you ever wanna hear the world
then all you gotta do is ride its swirl

yes if you are gonna surf the lights
and have the music pound from all sides
just go out there and dance the song
rhythmic insanity is never wrong

throw your arms up in the air
spin around and touch the sparkles there
its some kind of lucid trip to take
suspended in the now remade

just let the music pound from all sides
go the opposite of the neon tides
fingers cut the air with their platinum rings
and rule the world and everything

effing amazing write. I love this. The imagery is such a journey. A very trippy piece, but in a good way. The repetition isn't annoying, like in some pieces. It was very skillfully used.
