Alice in Wonderland

Pause & listen, this perfect time.
Disappear, frown upon this silly escape route
whisper loudly, justify unintentional crimes
Hands, so bloody, emotions 6 feet cooped.

Run, because hiding is dangerous.
Where finders are keepers, losers the weepers
Cry, because Alice was careless
Her wonderland, never meant for the cheaters.

This canvas, intentionally left blank
A reverie, still waiting to be painted
Fragile people, sailed & sank.
Skipping heart beats, a wait never waited.

Closing scene. the final curtain,
Empty faces, they who come and go,
Hurts biting the already bitten.
but the route is black & our heads are cold.

Lovely iambic pentameter, This is a beautiful little poem. Alice in Wonderland is a paradox in it's self and you really captured that.
