janette and neon try to find a place to escape from the darkness but could they find it?

2. ESCAPE ZONE

"So, where are we going?" Neon asks sitting on the lab's floor. "Well, I'm still thinking about it." I answer.

"Well look at this Encylopedia. It's about Ancient World, I think it would help us. I 'borrowed' it from the school's library before the runaway." Neon gets out the Encylopedia. It's a huge book, forty three centimeters height and and 25 centimeters wide. 

"Wow" I whisper.

 I snatch the book from Neon's hand to find our first destination. I flip the book's page until my eyes catch a title. 

The Mayas.

 I tap Neon on his shoulder and grab his ear near the book. "Look" I tell Neon. "What's the relation ship between time and The Mayas?" he asks. I sit on the floor and flip to the next page. 

 I read the caption under the picture of the sun and moon;

The Mayas were great astrologoies. They had their own calender wich was one of the most accuracy calenders in the world. The most amazing thing that they predicted that on twenty one December, 2012 would be the end of the World. unfortunately it wasn't the end of the World. it was the end of their calender.

"Well they weren't right at the end of the World which was yesterday. So why we need to believe them? " Neon asks. I tap him hard on the head, " Didn't the darkness appear yesterday? Didn't The Mayas predicted that the end of the World would be yesterday? I think that they were right. it's going to be the end of our World. " 

Neon does the ahhh and ohhh gasps which steals my nerves. I start to arrange the translator, the food and water for our unstoppable journey. I start to consentrate to open the portal to go to The Mayas. 

when the portal opens I step inside and Neon too.

If the mayas are right, it would be the end of our world... or the opposite.

Ohh, this looks good. Again, a few minor grammar and spelling things, but there is one thing really wrong here... December 21st was the end of their calendar, not their prediction of the end of the world. They most likely thought that they would add on to it more before that time. Also, I believe other sections of the Mayan calendar were found dating even farther than December 21, 2012. However, the Mayan calendar looks good. One question though; HOW did the main character arrange for food, water, and a translator? Not just any translator, but a Mayan translator? Otherwise, the story is delicious. :D

first: the translator is a multi languages translator for every language and i made researches for the mayan language and came with good information. i'm sure i wouldn't use it in ancient egypt because i don't know if they talked arabic in this time or what.

second: WE had thought that the mayas predicted that it's the end of the world not the end of their calender. that what was written in the book.

third: by thinking that the mayas predicted wrong that it was the end of the world and it was the end of their calender by our thinking we are blaming the mayas for predicting wrong and this isn't fair from my point of view.
