I Don't Understand

Written for 1 Male

Dan: I just don't understand how people can be so cold. They don't even know me and yet they're judging me "oh he's a bad influence you can't see him anymore" f**k you lady! you don't know me! you don't know what your son and I have and Alex I can't believe you would take there side on this! That you would actually do what they asked! I thought we were in this together... I thought... I thought you were going to stand by me no matter what. Now all the sudden you lose your back bone. I don't get you. I just don't understand... and you're not doing anything to help me.

I can envision this being a very powerful performance piece. I like how the pauses add even more to the emotions being expressed.
