A song I wrote a few years ago--Sort of a "don't drink and drive" kinda vibe.

Verse:
4 years ago
A boy walking home
Crossed when the light turned green

He didnt know
A truck was out of control
He didn't have time to scream

And all this time, he hasnt opened his eyes
He needed help, to breathe
And the doctor said,
To the mother

Could he be the the same
Wont even remember his name
In just those mere seconds,
Your boy was destroyed
Replaced by this shell, of a man
He missed all this time,

Everything that he missed

And both of their lives were changed
In that four years time
The driver saw his mistake....
As for the boy
He lives with the drive
Where they can live happily....
