Silver Rain

Silver Rain

A Story by JD Jessop

SILVER RAIN

By Jaromy D. Jessop

On the open plains " Through sheets of Silver Rain

The wind still whispers " Cloud shadows of her name

Needless repetition " My frozen ambition

Ice, sand, and stone " solitary submission

Cool Misty Morning

Natures early warning

Never ending, impending, pain

Alone in Silver Rain

Crystal recollection " Of my Angel’s sweet perfection

Gold plated ambrosia " Her Sapphire expressions

Fears the taxation " that my conscience pays the guilt

For phosphorescent memories " now drifting away

Frost in the Morning

Natures early warning

Of our loves lost direction

Somewhere in Silver Rain

Spring’s Mountain Flowers " Summer’s afternoon showers

Autumn’s golden leaves falling " Winter snows, I’m still calling

Will my Angel ever hear me? " All I want is her near me

Now I wander on the plains

Still I wander on the plains

And I’ll wander on the plains

Through Sheets of Silver Rain

Somewhere in Silver Rain

Alone in Silver Rain
