I don't know, glorious? Sometimes when we see things for the first time we are more appreciative. Then we want things to be so easy. I want to study the same foreign language as others, but it is possibly too late for me and I regret it. Still, I study the words and vocabulary anyway, just a little, this I could have taken with me on this journey. But I was a child when we had vacations and now as an older woman, I have not seen all these things that you have seen and I wonder how many of these things one should see and with whom if we have no one to travel with and will it be worthwhile and safe?

Laura, just the other day I watched a flock of noisy birds out our 2nd story window with my daughter, I noticed the blue lining over the mountains in the desert as I stepped out of my truck at work and took a deep cool breath of fresh air. These things are all around us for those who want to see them. Thank you for your comments. I write so that when I am no longer able to travel as I do, my memory will burn hot with the fire of countless embers.
