Dreaming Insatiability

Dreaming Insatiability

A Poem by Riley Bray
"

When can we live without being categorized?

"
I am merely insatiable
Insatiable
Insatiable.
I am merely insatiable
I'll run away
Till I am free.

I am
I always will be
I always have been
A dreamer.
And I think
Someday I can be
Part of a bigger thing
Where I'll think freely.
But right now
I'm not in the in-crowd
I prefer the quiet sounds,
Prefer to live like I'm living a dream.

'Cause I am merely insatiable
Insatiable
Insatiable.
I am merely insatiable
I'll run away
Till I am free.

Society
Isn't ready for me
Or perhaps i'm too late to think
Of what I wish I could be.
Because the way, I perceive things
Is different from reality
Or maybe that's my mind running free
Again.
I know
Maybe someday
In a different time
In a separate place
Far away...

I won't be merely insatiable
Insatiable
Insatiable.
Because I am merely insatiable
I'll run away from reality.

Am I
Really too old to dream
Of a different reality
In a separate galaxy?
Am I
Meant to be something,
Or just nobody's someone?
Answer
Answer me
Freely
Really.
Shall I
Discontinue
Or will my
Even more powerful candle ignite?
When will
I cease to be
Dreaming
No longer deemed
Full of insatiability?

When will
When will I be free?
