LIFE

LIFE

A Poem by junaid altaf
"

this sudden reality of life makes us feel the taste of its basic fundamental and that is uncertainty and pain and then it makes us beings who live in the sea of compromises and sacrifices......

"
life begins with a cry
and days start flying pass by
we with our innocence and dreams
step into the worlds realms

life then was sugar sweet
everything was bright like a white sheet
days were fun, brightest was the sun
life was at ease, there was no run

seasons changed their course,so did life
the bright and innocent left in a strife
everything changed in a wink
as if someone erased it all in a blink

days now seem so dark
desperately in need of the noah's ark
all sweet, bright and sugar gone
changed into something bitter and torn

inspite of all this there is still peace
somehow the dark could not take away this ease
there is still something providing life its dope
which is nothing but the candle of hope

it is burning though its flame is at low
but certainly there is something you know
that the flame will keep burning and bright
till life finds love and hope to its right

One will never know true joy and happiness unless it is contrasted with pain. Life presents its challenges for our spiritual selves to grow. And though, pain and despair is inseparable from the experience, we have to shift paradigms in order to view it as an opportunity to better ourselves instead of plunging into a deep pit of self-remorse.
The wheels of life turn and what may be down now will eventually go up at some point in time. The challenge here is to last and survive in order to see the morning after the storm.
