Smitten

Smitten

A Poem by Norma J. Jessee
"

The first time I held my little puppy.

"

The first time I saw you,

I knew I was smit,

You shook me to pieces,

I near had a fit.

Now that I've found you,

You've got to be mine,

Mountains of gold,

Can't compare with this find.

You tear me to pieces,

When I look in your eyes.

Deep down inside;

I can feel butterflies.

Momma dog loving,

Her cute little pup.

I'm telling you, cutie,

You're tearing me up.
