Footsteps

So this is how its formed

those who seem to have it figured out 

have been shaped by their own mistakes.

god will continue to mean less and less,

as I grasp the ways of my living.

I see that your stars are not out,

you still believe in his sort of light.

don't bring your insides out if you think they are someone else's.

(I say to myself)

one day Oyashiro's footsteps will stop.

and I will be free of my shadow.

but wont repeat it.

I've only known one world, you've known many.

I've burned in a demon's fire, you never will.

She will never see my burns and I will try.

Ripping off every scare, exposing sad beauty.

The blood might remind you of flowers but it's not an invitation.

In the end I was unfair, I didn't hold back the monster.

But how else would a human fight through pain, 

But to thrive in natural greed.

And dream that they were filled with innocence.

I'll roll in this thorn filled dirt,

thank you.
