Goodnight

wanted to tell my muse goodnight and sweet dreams in a unique way... I ended up writing a short piece

I whisper to the heavens a goodnight

Your ears I hope it shall reach in its flight

Upon the dream-spirits I pray

May they keep all your nightmares at bay

By the goddess I knelt and asked

From bad dreams may she keep you masked

Honeyed dreams is what you deserve i know

I would bend the night itself to make it so

From dreams I choose the loveliest if i could

Bind it eternally to your sleep I would

Alas my words has again exceeded my ability

But given a chance I will make it a reality

For now, sleep in the arms of the night my dearest

I wish that your dreams will always be the sweetest
