False

False

A Poem by Jennie Love

sweet and wicked

innocent smile

I gaze at you

with the eyes of a

Disney Princess

searching for

Prince Charming

of the moment

that always rears

its ugly head

chuckles and points

out all your imperfections

always bring out

the worst in people

always letting you know

that good things

lurk around the corner

like the girls

you knew in high school

when you were

everything that mattered

sometimes came easy

like sunday morning

that brought summmer rain

that introduced

warm sunlight

that you basked in

like the victory

of finding someone

that loved you like

she did

some fucked up things

that brought you to tears

like what you did to them

when you werent thinking

about the future

and what it was going to be like

whan it wasnt easy anymore

like sunday  morning

and rides home

that didnt end for hours

that lasted like days

that turned into nights

that dozed into dreams

that may come true

or

false
