Conquistador

A Poem by jenniewren (J.W. Bouwman)
"

another older write - tho "Morning" was written considerably before this one

"

your words are heavy dew

touching with blessed weight

upon my parched tongue.

my arms ache to hold you

even as they are memorising your shape...

my heart is open to you as never before

and though its exposure scares me,

the warmth of your hands

calms my shivers.

everything that i am is laid before you,

spread out like market wares

awaiting your browsing fingers.

my unplumbed depths

ache for your touch -

so send over your ships,

let them unfurl their sails

and conquer my hidden oceans.

Oh sudden burst of beauty and imagination, and how wild..you bring me off my deepest sleeps,ha ha
Your words like heavy dew..touching me with a thin weight
upon my most willing tongue,my arms ache holding you so tight
memorizing your every shape,my heart opened to you like never before
so much exposure so scares me,everything I own is laid to you
your fingers through my depths, how I ache for your touch
send your ships to my waters, keep them anchored there
lovely write..
