wordlust.

wordlust.

A Poem by jenniewren (J.W. Bouwman)

each syllable flows across my tongue

tart crisp goldendelicious goodness

filling my mouth with juices

to make my whole self ache

my fingers wriggle, itching to hold a pen,

to create words that equal

what these few have inspired within me

oh to spread them like cream

upon the silken pale hue of my flesh

to soak them in, osmosis-like,

consume them

absorb them

drape them across the curves of my ribs

an inner shield of gorgeous frippery

hung to dry on a clothesline

that had been left unadorned

abandoned

for far too long

wordlust. *poem* sound bite

She lusts for words, aching for newer
and more profound meaning in her
repertoire.
"Wordlust" captures the reader. Her
gift delivers rapture in a talented
profusion of sounds, painted in to a
gift, designed and delivered on a plate
of flowers to please every reader.

Incredible writing !

whew! your words drip and swirl and crunch and flow, flow oh so good, a juxtapose of taste and sexuality, sensuality, ecumenical starshine, i really dig this.

A perfect place to post this poem, as so many on here feel this lust for words that you have described perfectly. The words interlock and create a beautiful flow, it just rolls off the tongue in way a good write should. "upon the silken pale hue of my flesh
to soak them in, osmosis-like," Clever line.

Truly creative expressions of the power of words and how we can lust for them. Yes this is extremely sensual, with images that are enticing. I love this part, "Oh to spread them like cream, upon the silken pale hue of my flesh" Fanning myself, I can't comment any more on that. LOL One of my favorite poems very nicely composed and delivered.
