hiatus.

A Poem by jenniewren (J.W. Bouwman)

everything is on
pause
the world has stopped
while i listen to echoes
of words i used to know
everything is on
hold
aching brain hollowed
autumnal winds rustling through
the crisp fallen leaves contained within
everything is too
much
i can't handle the touch of others
when all i want
is to feel the clasp of your fingers
twirled round mine
in the darkness of my hermitage

A lovely writing with that tranquil gentleness i have come to associate you with..i love the format..
Life comes to sing the most beautiful notes in these pauses..we are one with the pristine cycle of our own breathing entwined with desire,yearning,disgust..all and everything entwined in that tenderness.

I love the structure of this. I read the the one part as the title, and the indented paragraph as fast as I could, only slowing down to slowly read the titles. Well done, dear. "The darkness of my hermitage" is a brilliant way to say that. I envy that line a lot.
