I'm the unpopular type of girl!

I'm the unpopular type of girl!

A Poem by jennifer little
"

basically its kind of about me

"
I'm the unpopular type of girl ,
I'm very shy,
Scared of a lot of things,
It's so hard to trust anyone ,
I'm the unpopular type of girl ,
I'm always laughed at ,
I'm always made fun of,
I'm always put down ,
I'm the very unpopular type of girl,
I'm so shy it's so hard to talk,
I'm a loner,
I like to be alone,
I like to have fun ,
But i'm still the unpopular girl,
I don't have a perfect body ,
I don't dress up , and where cute cloths,
I try to look good,
But i cant afford to be a popular girl,
I'm the unpopular girl ,
That everyone looks down to,
That feels everyone hates her,
Nobody likes her,
I'm the unpopular type of girl.

You just spoke on behalf of many girls in the same situation. This is sad but true and unfortunately we live in a day in age where it keeps getting worst and worst for the unpopular kids to be able to be themselves because they are scared to be rejected.

Easy to feel different. Hard to fit in. I believe we learn wisdom when we accept who we are and find people who like us and we like them. Can't make all people content. The poem made the reader ponder emotion and thoughts of others. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

Catch your breath... It's easy to get lost in other peoples' negativism IF you take their bashing to heart. You have to find things about you that YOU like and build yourself up (in your own mind) from there. No one is perfect, we all have flaws - but we also have good things that we CAN appreciate.

It is a poisoned culture we are in. Popularity just means you stop trying to be yourself and end up being someone else. No one should ever wake up and realize "Oh no I'm not like everyone else!".

You live in a world were you're fed "more of the same thing" because that is easier to handle than diversity. It is very dangerous ground because masses have power. They can intimidate and overpower in a way which is easier than being different, unpopular.

This poem has a candid way of making an impact.
I wouldnt let life get me down though....
Every misfit eventually becomes a magnet
