Lake of fire!

Lake of fire!

A Poem by jennifer little
"

just a description off a picture of hell

"

There is  a lake of fire,
Beneath our land,
The tormented souls that have been lost,
It's called the pit's of Hell,
The smell of rotting away flesh,
People damned for their souls,
All that has been lost,
No turning back now,
Can't be forgiven once your in Hell,
Into a lake of fire,
Oh how so many souls have been lost,
There is a beast,
A beast o so Evil and mean,
He is a dragon,
The eyes so dark,
He will tortured you,
For you are being punished for your sins,
The smell of brimstone,
The flesh eating away,
The regret from your sins,
Shoved right into your face,
Flash backs of all that you have done,
All the evil,
Punished to Hell.

Excellent description of hell will be like...thought I don't think anyone can fully comprehend what hell will be like...you captured hell in your own words...

I'm glad there is a hell to threaten us, otherwise we might loose hope in living, though we need a little firelight from time to time. Maybe hell is in Hawaii with the Vulcans

Is a very real place for those that chose to follow the path of unrighteousness.

I really liked this poem and I'm going to say now, I don't really have a belief in such a place as I believe God is a part of all living things, though I still liked this poem it is well done and fits the description many think hell to be.

I liked it; it's a very scarey place you describe. I found myself thinking I don't want to go there. Very descriptive - thanks so much!

I don't even like talking about it. It just creeps me out, the subject. this is a good poem. and sorry, I just can't or don't like to hear about something as awful as this. I just don't like the word, and it doesn't mean this isn't a good poem. It is, not that I really care what you write about. You can still write about it, and stuff like that but it seems like some people may not like hearing about it. like over religious people. I am just being considerate about how they feel.

True, very true. I see your point.
The poem reminds me of the description of hell by John Milton in his book,"Paradise Lost".
This is really a great matter of concern whether we have to be more polite in our crimes that we do commit now and then ,knowingly and with planning. This piece will chech us doing bad actions... As usual your language is superb and with a nice flow of emotions.
Please do comment on my recent poem "PLEASE GIVE ME BIRTH MY MOM..
Have a nice time..
