sensational summer day

sensational summer day

A Poem by jennifer little

time to walk far away,
and endure the wilderness to have fun,
on a beautiful hot summer day,

we shall soon be discovered,
by the sunshinning in the skies,
a monster oh so big and bad in the weary choppy waters,

swim if you dare,
i look over yonder and i see a lonely and quiet little girl,

no one knows where she came from,
should we ask if she's ok?

these waters are known for hidden deep down sea creatures,
shall we cross upon thy waters?
or should we stay here and be safe?
