awaiting my fate

awaiting my fate

A Poem by jennifer little

as the beams of the light,
shall enter the darkened chamber,
i feel all alone,
fearful inside,
with a darkened heart,
surley to pass us within,

i sit here all alone,
in these darkened prison chambered cell,

feeling no hope,
awaiting my fate,

robed,
beaten and torn down,

a shameful soul within,
as humanity's reflection has to choose,

shall you enter his passage?
or shall you rot in hell?
where is this place i am going?
calling out,
crying for forgiveness,
as the beams of light shine down
