Soldiers

You stand on a corner  with signs  protest
While they stand behind enemy lines and fight for us
Rant and rave how war is wrong
They fight and risk there lives
So you have the right to do it
They go days with out sleeping while there out on there missions
While you protest for a few hours and go home
You never really think do you  its not easy
You don't get things for free
Freedom comes from the men and women  of the armed forces
that risk there lives day in and day out for us
So we can wear what we want do what we want and have what we have
So you can have rights and say the things u want
The people in the military go in because they want to
We don't force them they want to
They are in so they can give respect to the United  States Of America
They go through hell just so we can have our rights
And all u can do is sit on a corner and say  war is wrong
You think u have and idea
But really you got no clue
Next time u want to go out and protest
Just thank a solider
Next time u salute a flag or wear what you want
Thank a solider they have done it all for us

Thank you to all the men and women of the armed forces that fight every day rip for all those who have died behind enemy line for you will never be forgotten .Thank you fathers son mothers and daughters for the rights we have for all of you behind enemy lines THANK YOU!

Thanks Jess. This poem is awesome. Many people don't realize that without war, even more people would die. I can't stand when people protest or even talk about things they don't understand. Great poem.
