Love

Love

A Story by Jessica Harmony

Love. What is that? really, honestly, it is just a word. So why is it so meaningful? because it's a word that tries to describe something undescribeable. A feeling that some people are lucky enough to feel in their lives. An undying passion for someone. What does it feel like, this thing, this so called 'love?' It feels like your heart is walking a trapeze high up in the air, knowing at any minute you could fall. It feels like your insides flip upside down and your whole world is backwards. It feels like finding that missing piece to the universe's puzzle; like holding shattered glass in your hands, knowing it's d dangerous but doing it anyways. How do i know what love feels like? Because i've been in love. I still am in love. Don't tell me i'm too young yo know what love is, because love has no age requirements or limits. the worst part of love though, is that it hurts. This stupid thing named love, it just turns right around and stabs you in the back. Like the roses in your hands suddenly grow thorns. It hurts you and leaves you alone. Love is cold. Does this mean I regret falling in love? No. Why? Because love is the most powerful thing in the world.
