Rage

Rage

A Poem by Jessica

Rage
A temper that exploded and burst forth from hell,
There's no fury worse than the gentle scorned,
The burning rage that bursts forth to see the light of day,
The rage that sings and screams it's injustice,
The rage that pays its due,
Bottled up and released,
And they say that rage is not the way,
But the fiery and the fire quenches the pain,
And my self-esteem never saw the light of day,
Till that fire and brimstone burst forth from the soul,
Let it burn straight to the bone,
And from the ashes of it's destruction I am born anew,
And now I am whole.

Rage. Bottled up passion released when volume and pressure peak. In cases rage is a very therapeutic expression. I mostly experience a feeling of relief and joy by this poem's resolution.

Depending on the direction the rage is pointed and in what form that rage is dispersed, it can be liberating. Good job. Not going to write anything more than that...lol.
