Survival...

Survival...

A Poem by Jillian Alexis
"

To a Friend whose been goin through it for quite some time now...I just hope they have the strength to pull out.

"

Certainly beautiful are these thoughts which prevail at the highest of altitudes

fed by spontaneity

this hunger produces such drive

Drive to linger in the sweetest of temptations

as sounds vibrate from the deepest of souls,

and unbalanced bullets of indecision ricochet throughout the mind

The piecing together moments of hope and strength becomes a rare commodity

But you see, this pain seems to cloud ones overly positive vision and jade thoughts of a equal and balanced creation

leaving nothing but the desire to become numb

and ease the pain to which has left us undone

I ask you to take a moment and consider this poison you have come to know

You keep to feeding that hunger and I watch it grow
I know its hard to see the lines of a once perfect picture crack and unfold,

but what a great story of survival to be told

If you could just make it through, I think I'd follow you

And be witness to ones revival

Hallelujah, Jillian! My mind exploded as I read the italicized "survival" at the end. Wrapped up nicely with "revival".. the flow is major here. "unbalanced bullets of indecision ricochet throughout the mind". Brilliant Jillian. No doubt this restored and helped your friend.
