You work to gain nothing.

Live to die.

Eat to get hungry.

Laugh to cry.

Wake up to go to sleep.

Achieve to lay waste (for nothing is of use after life)

Fall in love to fall apart.

Give your heart and never get it back.

Tell the truth, to hear a lie.

Make one laugh, while made to cry.

Bless to be cursed.

Cursed to get worse.

Stand up to then sit.

Gain health to degrade.

Take medicine but sitll to die.

Want to Want (Man can never be satisfied)

Earn to lose.

Show mercy for hate.

Earn the result of years of work...

To lose in a night!

Read this poem, to read more later.

Try to interpret, to be left misunderstood.

Forgive to be scorned.

Sacrifice to be hated.

Write to have never read.

Just give up, to be inspired to try again, only to be where once were.

Does it all make sense? Does anything make sense? Is effort, persistence and drive the key to success? Or is success merely something used to motivate others in selfish ambition?

The matters you bring forward...the pessimistic view of each is quite discouraging, yes, I can understand that and looking at everything in that view...no, none of it makes sense.
Everything makes sense at some point however, but how does one come to that realization...thats the question that should be asked.
Tho each matter, there is a different view-point...so therefore..you'll hear yeses and nos for ur answers...but it all comes back down to who you are.
No, not ur experiences, not what you observe..but who u are.

Lastly...success is based on what you choose. If you can dream it, you can achieve it..anything u put ur mind to, u can achieve it. DO NOT fall pray to the distractions of the world.

That line stuck in my mind cuz i wrote a poem; "A Reason to Try Again"...and it speaks to various situations...particularly "love"... I understand the statement you made...baically saying, "why shoot into the sky to be shot back down to the ground once agin?"...frankly that in itself doesn't make sense to some....but hun...lemmi just say..its all a part of life...

Though i'm young, this is what I've observed. You have your up,u have ur downs..

A wise fellow, amazing in character, once told me that once you're down, His strength is made perfect.
And I cherish that statement, because its true.
It's inevitable that you're gonna be shot down...yes..it hurts like hell!! but guess what "Blessed are those who mourn...for they SHALL be comforted"

Answer:...LIFE SUCKS....you do what you have do while alive and live life to feel alive all these things are unavoidable evils that comes with being alive and whe have to deal with them to remain alive.

A little while ago I was talking to a friend an he said that I have purpose, he said whether
I 'found' it or not my life means something. So if we all have purpose then the answer
to your question is YES it all makes sense, everything has purpose. Every action has a reaction if it's
good then good, if it's bad then bad. The result of what we do affects not only us but
those who will come after us. To me the key to success is just realizing that success is
nothing but another step to something greater another reaction if you will. At times what
we do can seem worthless and empty, only because it ends wrong, but what or who did you
affect for the better on your way to that end is what needs to be asked.

I mean to get into the bible a little bit wasn't Christ born just to die? it sounds bad yes
but: what did he do along the way? Who did he touch? Why did he die?

everything makes sense. Great question...made me think.
