You Can't Break Me

 

You try to keep me

from my life.

Cutting me deep,

like a knife.

 

You bury my hopes,

my dreams, and my thrills.

You work so hard

to hide the joy I could feel.

 

You want me to believe

I'm alone, weak, and scared.

That I have no one

to share the load that I bare.

 

But I am stronger

than you make me out to be.

And I refuse to let you

bring me to my knees.

 

So, I hope you're ready

for a fight, you see.

Because I won't let Fear

take a hold of me!
