contradiction

seeing other people, yet single,

dancing in the rain, but it's dry,

im basking in the sun, at night,

enjoying the stars, with a tear in my eye

 

something,

is not right here,

but i cant figure it out

i guess dreams are only nightmares for me.

 

my heart is burning, with ice,

my conscious is screaming, at nothing

or something...i cant remember

and im dying, while im born again

I love the contradictions in this, especially in the first stanza. They were really great - and somehow made sense, despite the fact that they obviously didn't. xD I really enjoyed "i'm basking in the sun, at night" That's certainly a very pretty image. Well done! (:
