Never Ending Life

Never Ending Life

A Poem by Jay
"

This is about my mother....She died almost 2 years ago!!!!!!!!

"

Never Ending Life

Gone
Almost two years
Closed eyes

Crying faces
Unfilled spaces
Broken heart

Wishing you were around
Show me the way
Don't be gone

When you have big dreams
Don't dash them
Cry, for God's sake

Death, a b***h
An unexpected change
Can't change it

Trying to move on
Come back
Mom

This seems like a poem borne from the freshest of griefs, by that I mean the clipped phrases and the abrupt rythym evoke a sense of sudden loss and shock rather than grief after 2 years, but having never lost a mother...all I can say is that, you convey greif, pain, and shock very well.
