Never Apart

Never Apart

A Poem by Jay
"

A past relationship that no longer exists....A haunting of sorts.

"

Your face haunts me
I need to make you mine
The thoughts I have drive me up a tree.
Your beauty makes me blind.

I wake up sweaty
You're not next to me
You don't care if I'm ditzy
I am so ready to be

Take the walk
Down the aisle
Forget the stupid talk
I am sick of the idiotic child

I used to be
You made me different
Are you ready to be we?
Don't ever tell me I never tried

I know we are forever
The days feel like minutes
They are so short I swar
Nothing could compare

The short time I have seen
You never judge
Never in between
Never, ever budge

These words may not mean much
They cannot truly convey
The amount that I need you in the clutch
I never expected to meet you, in my dismay
I feel like never leaving your side
For whatever you need I shall abide

You are my heart
My soul, my chart
To the guides of life
We will never have strife

Never apart
I could never break your heart.

i like your style of writing poems. they've got a real feel of someone quickly jotting down their feelings as they feel them. Yet you can tell theres an ellement of thought involved in the process. I used to write just like you but i dont anymore. I cant explain why. I actualy kind of miss it. I was probably more honest when i wrote that way. Thanks i think i'll experiment a bit and i'll keep an eye out for any new posts from you. Keep it up.
