Liebe

Liebe

A Poem by James

Slowly slipping into insanity,
my mind wanders through the night.
I try to fight off thoughts of you.
I’m using all my might.

Your warm, gentle touch and gorgeous smile,
they’re hard for me to bear.
I know I’m falling head over heels,
yet you don’t seem to care.

Sprawled out on my bed, tossing and turning,
I can no longer find sleep.
feel like I’m having withdrawals from you
an addiction I can’t keep.

Starring blankly into the black abyss,
I lay awake in bed,
my mind slowly being destroyed
from thoughts of you in my head.

If I could have one wish,
I’d wish that this were true,
I’d hope that you’d feel for me
the way I feel for you.

This poem is so utterly perfect. You create an amazing "falling" affect if you will. All of your emotions are laid out. It's beautiful, keep it up!
