am i the only girl

am i the only girl

A Poem by jodi sharp

Am i the only girl who thinks on her own

am i the only girl who has a mean tone

am i the only girl who hided on her sink

am i the only girl who would never drink

am i the only girl who looks pass the outter you

am i the only girl who likes to try something new

am i the only girl that talk to her self

am i the only girl who dreams of faryies who

sits in the closet that can say no.

who cares about people who dont even know

am i the only girl that will never change

am i the only one who shows her pain

if i am the only girl then tell me why

every one looks over the "Only girl"

You are not the only girl or person for that matter. I love the idea of creating a poem of self discovery and validation. Nice poem, an emotional write for sure. I look forward to coming back and reading more of your work. Please come back and visit me soon.

This is a great rhythm to it! And I really like the message in it too. I'm sure that all of us, at one time or another, has wondered these things too. Several spelling/grammer errors - I notice those I guess because English was always my best subject in school. Plus. I've been working for many years in a job where I have to write business letters and memos that must be perfect. Let me know if you would like some help with spelling and grammar, I'd be happy to.
