She sees color and puts her head down

He assumes he's from here and hes just like every guy in this town

She expects me to just follow the traditional ways

He just wants me to do everything he says

But they don't look at their own mistakes and what they did

It only took them two months to get married

Education wasn't a priority it was a hobby

You are the only thing that is important to me she would say

The next thing shes in the hospital having a baby

But I guess something went wrong and had a miscarriage

They were filled with sorrow looking at that new carriage

These are things they could've avoided

Now they think Ill do the same so they want me guarded

Through all the ups and downs they need to understand I'm not a kid

I feel like they can't let me breath

In and out of work and to be true most of the time I never wanna leave

Don't want the drama don't want the stress

Cant get away from it because it turns into a mess

She says she trusts me but I doubt it

He still thinks I'm scared of him but I end up fighting it

Nothing seems to change them and I don't think they will

They will always have their own thoughts and perspectives

They won't ever have a clue about my decisions and choices

But everything has their truth and lies

It's like the black and white angel on my sides

Never know how your life is destined to be

But no one has the right to change it but me

Life is all about learning from...
