When you feel

I’m laying here next to my pup
I watch her as I hear her snore
The calmness of her breathing..
I look at her and I think of him
Because shes laying where hes supposed to be..
I remember trying so hard not to cry
I wanted to show him that I was strong
But there is only one thing that softens my heart..
And its his vibrant starry eyes
It just feels like his eyes hit my soul
I try to hold on but his stare breaks me down
The feeling is just so instant with just one look
And that's all it took
I feel so guilt every time that I say that he’s my everything
Its like being unappreciative about the other people around me
But its true.
When it feels like half of your heart is not there..
When you feel like you have a missing piece in your life.
When you feel like you have a missing leg and your world is limping.
This world shakes up and down when you get lost for a moment.
Sometimes I have to catch my breath when I see his smile in my mind
I always dislike mentioning about being an army wife to strangers
They remind you about having a lonely Christmas.
You tell them that you got used to the long distance.
You pretend you’re fine but they bring back the pain.
At least I stay sane.
If he only knew that I pray for him every night before going to bed..
And the funny thing is that I don’t BELIEVE.
So is that a deceive?
I wouldn’t know
Maybe someday I’ll see the sky glow.
