Balancing Life

Life in a poem

People have smiles, and some cry,

Everyday someone is born, and some die,

What a sad balance, but needed,

Without it, who would have succeeded?

To know happiness, one must know pain,

To stay healthy that must remain,

Hearts can be in love, or alone,

To love, lonliness must be known,

Everyone must climb a mountain, short or tall,

But, to really reach the top, one must fall,

One must lose what they live for, to be able to live right,

One must lose battles, to win the fight,

With every sadness, there's a happy end,

With every bad day, there's another to spend,

Words can hurt, and words can heal,

But, never let words change what one can feel,

What a sad balance indeed,

But, it's a balance we all need.
