goodbye for now

goodbye for now

A Poem by parentheses
"

spastic honesty

"
we don't even need to talk
really
silly as it sounds

I don't even know what to say most times
to be honest
I'm not really sure we have things in common

does that matter to you?

it scares and it excites me
that i never know if you hate or if you like me

I've been this clueless forever, always stuck in my mind
I'm so bad with time i forget you've lived a whole other life

I guess it's just me hoping you haven't changed
you were so perfectly you back then

But anyhow,
I don't like to drag these things out,

goodbye for now

Oh

My

Word.

This is like... my theme poem.... with a guy I’ve had a crush on for over a year

We “work together” as directors for a Christian youth organization
He has blatantly stated that we aren’t allowed to date, because the “handbook And our contract doesn’t allow it”

While, on the other hand, sometimes he jokes and looks deeply into my eyes and soul, and I can’t help but wonder if there is secretly something there?...

He’s gone from town for the summer, but says he will be back again once the school year starts back up...

“Goodbye for now” I guess 💔
