just a short poem i wrote when i was bored

Insanity

Is anyone sane
they say
insanity
is doing something
over and over again
expecting a different result

Do we not
fall for someone
over and over
expecting everlasting love
instead feeling heartbreak

Do we not
get angry at someone
because of our own problems
expecting them to be resolved

Do we not
complain about
simple problems
expecting people to pity us

Again I ask
is anyone sane
if so
they must be perfect
because we all have a little bit of
insanity inside us

Just try not to let it
drive you
INSANE
