When I choose to dance...

When I choose to dance...

A Poem by Jon Roggie
"

Sorry for the final imagery

"
I dance,
  not with the music playing,
   only the music of life.

So,
  I dance.
   Twist and step,

Each step,
  dancing on broken glass.

:: why should you be sorry ? ... i think that's an incredible image... it takes a lot of courage to "dance on broken glass"... one has to endure so much pain and yet one dances... i so know the feeling... i think you expressed it very powerfully...

Thank you, Pixie!
Wow, painful - yes it is always a little painful to be out of step with those around us - but if we all walked the same path think of all the scenery that might be missed. Enjoyed this write - even the last line although it did make me think ' ouch' x
