My hippy angel

My hippy angel

A Poem by Julie McCarthy (juliespenhere)
"

This happened Sunday it's true when up coast

"
You were dressed in white
Hippy style
Long curly blonde hair
Silver jewels
A Cross adorned your necklace
I was just standing on sea cliff
I couldn't escape you
You came to me
Your mission on earth
Was me

You held me in your hippy
Religious talk
You connected with me
There we stood like two long
Lost friends for an hour
The sun the sea the whales we saw
You held me
Captivated me
You owned me
You were sent from above

My white angel
My hippy angel
Your mission was done
To remind me of Jesus
Ask me if I was a Christian
Not sure I said I still have faith but once was a Christian
We chatted
You told me of your losses in suicide
I told you of mine

It was at this point I realised
You had the exact manner of
Speech and voice
as my friend that took her life last year
Same smile same laugh
Same face same hair
Except hers red
I told you this
You smiled you knew

Your mission was done
I said goodbye we hugged
I asked if we could keep in touch
You said you didn't use computers
You were gone quickly
Almost disappeared
That night I cried
In bath of many many things
I took my Jesus back
Your mission complete

Thank you dear sweet. Hippy Angel
My hippy angel
I'll never forget you
Your mission was me
I'll return to that same cliff
And look for you
But your mission is done
Thank you God
For sending me your hippy angel
My hippy angel dressed in white

Thanks thanks thank you
"I was just standing on sea cliff"
-I think you mean "on a sea cliff," but I'm not sure.

"The sun the sea the whales we saw"
-Commas should be used here, though you need them elsewhere as well.

"To remind me of Jesus
Ask me if I was a Christian"
-You switch your verb tenses to present here

"That night I cried
In bath of many many things"
-This sentence is odd. Usually people say "in a bath" or "taking a bath." Was this intentional?

"Thank you dear sweet. Hippy Angel"
-And again, I'm not sure, but I think you mean "Thank you dear, sweet hippy angel." Or, alternatively, you can put a comma after sweet if you are using hippy as an adjective.

Overall, I like the idea. It's very sweet and pure, But you need to proof read a little more. Good job :)
