Babylon Garden LoveA Poem by Silburwolf
Travel through the waterfalls and trees
To a place of grand majesty What do I see before me? A lady of the nobility Her skin tan as the Earth we till Her eyes gaze with grace and heal She walks through the garden SLOW but strife Into the day's night She awaits a prince with intellect and might What if I am not right? She notices me and grabs me tight For trouble brews and there is a fight Archers lay on the night bay Boats all lined in array Cannons fire with great sight of death Will this be my last breath? I grab my sword from my sheathe Swing to protect thee Princess hides in garden's deep I run forth and leap Into the eye of danger amongst strangers Swing my sword as my army arrive Thank goodness they are just in time I go and retreat to guard fair lady though without ease She looks to be appeased As quick as the enemy arrive They leave with little life I and the princess leave toward's tower's height As we celebrate the night © 2018 Silburwolf
